DREAMS AND OTHER MYSTERIES

What are dreams? Why do we have them? Do animals dream? Where do dreams originate? A mystery, eh? Scientists involved in "dream research" have made progress, however, the more that is discovered about the brain and consciousness, the more the mystery deepens. Perhaps they should look into the teachings of "ancient peoples" for clues. The Aborigines of Australia believe that they were created out of " The DreamTime". What does that mean? According to their beliefs a "creator being" dreamed them into existence . This poses another mystery, who was the "creator being "? Does our origin as a human being exist in another star system ? Could it be that some "alien " scientist/s have a template of our design specifications stored in their archives? Could it be that these highly evolved beings are the "gods" of ancient myths? Has our DNA been designed to "seek god"? Who is God? We are in the midst of a cultural evolution. Does this mean that our "god " search will become more sophisticated? Have the "creator being/s " designed us to evolve physically, mentally and spiritually on a concurrent basis? As our consciousnes grows do we change physically-brain size- perhaps. Where does this mysterious process of dreaming fit in? I have pondered these questions many times over the years My lifelong study of consciousness and the "dream state" has led me down many unexpected paths and into places I never thought I would be. I am interested in any comments you may have about dreams, consciousness or any related subject.
